Place all of the waffle ingredients into a large bowl. Stir by hand until completely combined and smooth. It might be a little bit lumpy, but that's ok. Brush the waffle iron with a little bit of oil. Preheat waffle iron according to manufacturer's instructions. Use the amount of batter indicated on your manufacturer's instructions. For my waffle iron which makes 2 square waffles at a time uses ⅓ cup of batter per waffle and once you close the lid, they take 90 seconds to bake. Bake yours according to your manufacturer's instructions. Place baked waffles on a plate and continue making them until you've used all of the batter.
Heat each burger on a microwave safe plate covered with a paper towel for 1 minute and 15 seconds. Use 2 waffles for the bread and one burger patty in the middle. Dress the burger as desired. Store extra waffles in the freeze in an airtight container, if desired.
