Place the dry ingredients in a medium bowl. Whisk together until combined. Add the wet ingredients and whisk until smooth. Brush waffle iron with a little bit of canola oil. Preheat waffle iron according to manufacturer's instructions. Pour half of the batter into hot waffle iron. Put lid down and cook for about 90 seconds or until indicator light on waffle iron goes on. Carefully remove waffle with a fork. Place on cooling rack. Repeat procedure for remaining batter. Serve with Peanut Butter Syrup, raspberries and fat free non-dairy whipped topping, if desired.
