These Quick & Easy Bunny Cinnamon Rolls are so simple to make; all you need is refrigerated cinnamon rolls, raisins and sprinkles.
Course Baking, Breakfast
Cuisine American, British, Canadian
Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 15 minutes
Servings 5 bunnies

Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated cinnamon rolls
  • 5 raisins
  • 2 tablespoons white sprinkles

Instructions

  • Buy a can of refrigerated cinnamon rolls (the kind that comes with the icing, I used Pillsbury Grands Cinnamon Rolls). Make sure they are the kind that you can unroll.
  • Line a baking pan with parchment paper or silicone mat. Or you can grease the pan instead. (I like using a half sheet pan because it has raised edges).
  • Carefully unwind each roll into a long strip of dough, fold in half and cut at the halfway mark. Roll up one half to be the body, place on prepared baking sheet. Then cut one third off of the remaining half strip of dough. Roll up the one third to be the tail and stick on body. Use a little water to stick the pieces of dough together. Take the remaining piece of dough and roll up halfway, then cut vertically down the part that's not rolled up, then fan out a bit to create the ears. Stick to bunny body on pan.
  • Bake at 350° for 13-16 minutes or until golden brown. Cook time varies depending on your oven. Let cool 5-10 minutes, then frost. We put the frosting that comes with the rolls into a small sandwich bag, cut the corner and piped on top of the rolls. Add a raisin eye and white sprinkles for the tail, if desired.
  • Makes 5 bunnies if you use Pillsbury Grands. Use 2 cans of Pillsbury Grands cinnamon rolls if you want to make 10 bunnies.

Notes

When you're looking for the store bought canned cinnamon rolls, make sure to buy the kind that you can unroll so you can reshape them into to adorable little bunny rolls. Some of the refrigerated cinnamon rolls are more like biscuits with cinnamon sugar on top. Don't get those.
If you don't want to use a raisin for the bunny eye, you can use an Easter colored M&M, chocolate chip, Jelly Bean, heart candies, or even some piped on colored frosting!
