Oreo Cookie Christmas Ornaments

This easiest and cutest holiday cookie you will make this season!

Ingredients

  • 1 package chocolate sandwich cookies (about 30) we used OREO cookies
  • 1 ½ pounds almond bark candy coating
  • 1 package mini peanut butter cups (at least 30)
  • ¼ cup sprinkles

Instructions

  • Melt almond bark in microwave according to package directions. Dip cookie, flipping to cover completely with candy coating. Use a fork to remove cookie and tap on side of bowl to remove excess candy coating.
  • Place carefully on parchment paper lined baking sheet. Immediately add sprinkles, then attach a peanut butter cup on the side. Repeat with remaining cookies.

Notes

How do I store them? You can store the completed cookies (once they are set) in an airtight container, on the counter. These will last for around 7-10 days, when stored properly.
Can I freeze them? No. They do not freeze well because the chocolate turns cloudy after being in the freezer.
