Ingredients

  • 1 box Soft Frosted Grocery Store Cookies (about 10 cookies)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 bag Pink candy melts (12 ounces) we used Wilton brand
  • 1 tablespoon white sprinkles, if desired

Instructions

  • Place cookies in mixer and beat on low until you have fine crumbs. Beat in softened cream cheese. Roll into about 20 balls. Refrigerate 2-4 hours.
  • Melt candy melts in microwave according to package instructions (I used Wilton brand candy melts). Add a few teaspoons of vegetable oil if it seems too thick.
  • Dip a treat stick in melted candy melts, then gently press into chilled ball. This helps the treat stick stay in place. Repeat for all of them. Let set a few minutes, then dip balls in melted candy melts.
  • Add sprinkles, if desired. Let set by placing treat sticks in a styrofoam block or an upside down pizza box with holes punched in it. Store leftovers in an air tight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Notes

Can I make homemade Starbucks cake pops without candy melts? Yes, you can use melted white chocolate or almond bark as an alternative. Adding a bit of oil or shortening can help achieve the right consistency.
