DIY Dubai Pistachio Chocolate Bars

Make DIY Dubai Pistachio Chocolate Bars at home with pistachio butter, crispy knafeh, and rich chocolate. Easy, fun, and totally delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1 DIY Dubai Pistachio Chocolate Bar Kit (chocolate mold included)
  • 12 ounces dark chocolate melting wafers
  • 3.5 ounces kataifi
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 7 ounces pistachio cream

Instructions

  • Place the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Pour a thin layer of melted chocolate into the provided mold (or a parchment-lined loaf pan). Spread evenly. Place in freezer for 10 minutes. Set aside remaining chocolate to use for top layer.
  • Brown kataifi in a skillet on medium with 2 tablespoons butter until golden brown. Don't get it too brown. Let cool and stir into the pistachio cream. Spread a generous layer of pistachio butter mixture over the chilled chocolate.
  • Pour the remaining melted chocolate on top (microwave again for 20 seconds, if needed), covering the layers completely. Smooth with a spatula. Chill: Place in the fridge for 30 minutes or until set. Unmold and enjoy: Remove from mold, slice if desired, and serve! Store covered in the refrigerator for up to a week (if it lasts that long).

Notes

If you don’t have the kit, you can still make these at home. Use your favorite chocolate chips and pick up pistachio cream at your local grocery store. For a gluten-free alternative to kataifi, crush Rice Chex cereal. Instead of a chocolate mold, you can use a loaf pan lined with parchment paper. Follow the instructions above, adjusting the amounts as needed based on your pan size.
