Microwave Chocolate Chip Cookie in a Mug Recipe

This is the perfect recipe to satisfy your chocolate chip cookie craving in a hurry!

  • First melt butter in your favorite microwave-safe mug (about 4-inches in diameter) for 10-15 seconds or until fully melted (do not overheat).
  • Add brown sugar and mix until combined. Once combined, add the salt and vanilla extract. Next add the egg yolk and mix fully. Then add in your flour and baking soda. Mix again until combined.
  • Once everything is combined, add your favorite semi-sweet chocolate chips and add a few more on top before microwaving! Microwave cookie dough for 45 seconds or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
  • Let cool for a few minutes and enjoy your freshly baked cookie!! Top with some fresh strawberries or vanilla ice cream, if desired!
