Soup, Crackers & Kids Craft

Summer is in full swing and mom (that’s me) is in charge of entertaining the kids and of course, feeding them. Today I’m sharing an easy lunch and fun craft with a Disney Pixar’s Finding Dory theme.

During the school year, I pack lunches in the morning and then don’t have to think about meals until early evening. I don’t know why but it seems more intimidating to me to have to come up with lunch every day in the summer. Campbell’s Soup featuring Disney/Pixar’s Finding Dory and Goldfish® Special Edition! Cheddar Disney Pixar’s Finding Dory Crackers can be ready in minutes, plus the children love it! I found both of these items at Target.

Our kids are crazy about Goldfish® crackers. It’s definitely my son’s favorite snack. Hands down!

Aren’t these Goldfish® Special Edition! Cheddar Disney Pixar’s Finding Dory Crackers fun? So colorful!

This lunch was on the table so quickly. I just heated up the Campbell’s Soup featuring Disney/Pixar’s Finding Dory (according to package instructions). Then I sliced up some fruit and poured some Goldfish® Special Edition! Cheddar Disney Pixar’s Finding Dory Crackers in a bowl. And done! Happy kids + happy mom = happy day!

Summer isn’t just about meals. It’s also about activities and keeping those little hands busy. This is a great little craft with a Disney Pixar Finding Dory theme.

All you need is some blue acrylic paint, a paint brush, paper plates, plastic eyeballs, glue and black permanent marker.

Start by pouring a little bit of paint onto a paper plate. Let your child dip the paint brush into the paint on the plate and paint their own hand. Be generous with the paint and cover all the fingers.

Then place painted hand onto another clean paper plate. Press gently. If you don’t like it or you can’t see the whole hand print, then brush some more paint on hand and try it again. Let it dry completely.

Once it’s dry, glue on the eyes and draw a mouth. That’s it! Isn’t it a cute little fish?

And my favorite activity after serving lunch and supervising the kiddos with craft time is… wait for it… a well deserved nap! Haha… I’m actually serious though. Until next time. Zzz…
