Total Time 20 minutes
Servings 24 cookies
Calories 71kcal

Ingredients

  • 1 package Store bought refrigerated sugar cookie dough
  • 1 can Store bought vanilla creamy ready-to-spread frosting
  • ½ cup Sugar sprinkles (purple, yellow and green)

Instructions

  • Prepare cookies according to package instructions. Let cool.
  • Frost cookies, then add sprinkles. I added the yellow in the middle first. It's easier if you put the sprinkles in a bowl, then use your fingers to add the sprinkles in straight lines. You have more control using your fingers instead of shaking it right out of the bottle.

Notes

How do I store these? Store in an airtight container or a Ziploc bag for up to 3 days at room temp or in the refrigerator for a week. I recommend keeping them at room temperature because that's when they taste the best. Another way of storing them is wrapping the cookies in plastic wrap or aluminum foil.
Can I make the cookies homemade? Yes! You can use a cookie mix to make or if you want to make them from scratch you can use my mask cookies recipe: Mardi Gras Mask Sugar Cookies.
