Easy peanut butter chocolate fudge recipe

Today I’m sharing another treat from my recipe archives. I’m talking about my old fashioned recipe box that I’ve had since I was a kid. I tore out this yummy fudge recipe from a magazine many many years ago. Most likely in the 1980s. And I’m so glad I did. The layered effect with contrasting flavors is just so good. I love the crunch of the peanut butter layer and the fudgy creaminess of the chocolate layer.

The holidays are a couple of months away but I recommend that you go ahead and print this recipe out to save for Christmas. It would make a great gift for your neighbor or children’s teacher. Pack it in a pretty box, tie it up in a bow and you’re good to go. You could also bring it to the Christmas cookie swap. But before you give it away, you might want to make a sample batch for you and your family to do a little taste testing.
