Begin by melting your almond bark in a microwave safe bowl according to the directions on the package you use.
Insert the stick into the stuffing of the Oreo until it is in the middle. Half of the time they crack so don’t use those ones, but to make sure the Oreo and lollipop stick hold together, open up the Oreo and put a little bit of the almond bark inside in the center of the cookie making it like glue to hold the Oreo together. If you do this, stick them in the fridge for a few minutes to let them harden.
Once hardened, or after you have some Oreo pops, fully submerge the Oreo in the coating and tap it on the edge of the bowl to ensure it has a nice smooth top.
While the chocolate is still melted, stick the 4 candy corn (the pointed white side) into the filling part of the Oreo. You might have to push it in there to get it to stick but don’t force it because you don’t want to break the Oreo. It also helps to put a little chocolate on the end of the candy corn and then stick it into the stuffing part. Make sure you hold it there until it stays on by itself.
Place the two candyeyes on and under the eyes place the candy corn beak. Place the candy corn upside down to give it the “beak” look. Place on parchment paper and stick in the fridge for 5-10 minutes until fully cooled and hardened. Take pictures of your cute turkeys and enjoy!!
Notes
Type of Oreo: Use double stuff Oreos NOT regular! To make sure the stick fits into the filling of the Oreo.
