Ingredient Notes

Chex cereal: Corn and/or Rice Chex add the perfect crunch and keep this snack mix gluten free.

• Mini pretzels: Use gluten free pretzels if needed — they add that irresistible salty bite.

• Valentine’s M&M’s: Red, white, and pink candies make this festive and fun.

• White chocolate chips: I used dairy free white chocolate, but regular white chocolate works just as well.

• Oil: A small amount of avocado or coconut oil helps the chocolate melt smoothly and drizzle easily.

Quick Tips

• Use a very large bowl so everything mixes evenly without breaking the cereal.

• Add the M&M’s and sprinkles immediately so they stick before the chocolate sets.

• For quicker setting, place the pan in the fridge for 10–20 minutes.

Valentine’s Day White Chocolate Snack Mix

A sweet and salty, no-bake treat made with Chex cereal, pretzels, festive Valentine’s M&M’s, and drizzles of white and semi-sweet chocolate.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Chex cereal, (I used a combination of corn chex and rice chex)
  • 2 cups Cheerios
  • 1 cup mini pretzel twists, (I used gluten free)
  • 10 ounce bag of Valentine’s Day M&M’s, (red, white, and pink)
  • 2 (10 oz) bags white chocolate chips, melted, (I used dairy free)
  • 1 3/4 teaspoons avocado oil or coconut oil, divided, (or vegetable oil)
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
  • 1 tablespoon Valentine’s Day sprinkles, optional

Equipment

Instructions

  • First, line a half sheet pan (13"x18") with parchment paper. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine the Chex cereal, mini pretzel twists, Cheerios, and 1 cup of the Valentine’s M&M’s.
  • Melt the white chocolate chips in the microwave according to package instructions. Stir in 1½ teaspoons of avocado oil (or coconut oil). Keep stirring until completely smooth. Pour over cereal mixture.
  • Using two large spoons, gently toss together all of the ingredients until evenly coated with white chocolate, then immediately transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and spread into an even layer. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips the same way, then stir in the remaining ¼ teaspoon oil and drizzle over the snack mix. Immediately sprinkle with the remaining Valentine’s M&M’s and optional sprinkles.
  • Allow the chocolate to set and harden at room temperature or place the pan in the refrigerator until firm, about 10–20 minutes. Break into pieces and serve.
